NOTICE:
If the cutting head feels loose
during folding or unfolding of the cutting
head, perform the following steps:
a. Loosen the outer (locking) nut using a
13 wrench (not included).
b. Securely tighten the inner nut using a
13 wrench (not included).
c. Securely tighten the outer (locking) nut.
ADJUSTING THE ANGLE OF THE CUTTING BLADES (Fig. 5)
The angle of the cutting blades can be adjusted to 9 different working positions,
UPWARDS to any of 3 positions from 0° to +45°, and DOWNWARDS to any of 6
positions from 0° to -90°. Adjust the cutting head to a suitable working position before
operating the hedge trimmer.
1. Ensure that the blade sheath is in place and the battery pack is disconnected from
the hedge trimmer.
2. While pressing the release lever, rotate the blade-angle handle to unfold the cutting
blades to the desired cutting position (Fig. 4b).
