Initial operation
Dry running of the pump must be avoided at all costs. Tip: When connecting to the mains, disconnect the mains
plug immediately if the wastewater pump is switched on accidentally (e. g. by a faulty level sensor).
See 5.6 for a description of the control panel
During commissioning, the following input is expected:
1. Language for the display
2. Date / Time
3. Product type
– Settings, depending on the type of product (Pumpfix F or Ecolift)
4. Maintenance interval

Carrying out initialisation
•
Supply the control unit with mains voltage, a self-test is performed
with the following steps
– Activation of alarm-power outage battery
– Green LED Ready for operation <19> comes on
– The backwater flap is closed electrically and then opened again
(yellow LED <22> backwater flap flashes during the flap movement
and goes out when the backwater flap is open)
– Pump starts briefly, yellow LED <26>
– Menu 3.10
If initial operation (menu 0.1. Language) is not included on the display, the control unit has already been
parameterised. In this case, the parameters set must be checked or the unit must be reset to the factory setting
(see chapter 5.6, item 3.11).
When the factory settings have been reset, initial operation of the control unit is automatically offered.
The counters for the maintenance interval and switching cycles are ignored during the reset.
•
Press the OK <69> button, the display lighting is switched on
Select and save the national language, the menu
•
Set and save the date and time (24-hour format), the menu
Select the product type, save and follow the further instructions in the display until the menu
appears
Select the maintenance interval or set this individually and save, a self-test is carried out. The LEDs come on
alternately while the electrical components (motor, backwater flap and pump) are checked. The System info menu
then appears for a few seconds*, initial operation has now been completed
* The control unit then switches to the automatic mode
