Answering Machine
Remote access
You can call your answering machine from another telephone to play any new
messages or execute other functions. A condition for this is the use of a tele-
phone which implements tone dialling.
PIN code for remote access
The default setting of the security PIN code is 0000". In order to use the remote
access function, the default PIN code 0000" must be changed. Remote access
is only possible when the PIN code is not set to 0000".
Changing the PIN code
Via the Answer Settings menu:

If the PIN code entry is incorrect, the OGM is repeated. If the PIN is
entered incorrectly three times, the line is automatically disconnected.
Select the function and confirm
Enter the old PIN
Enter the new PIN
Re−enter the new PIN
Dial your own phone number
Press the button while the OGM is playing
and enter the PIN
