2.2 Dangers when handling the filter tank
The filter tanks are state-of-the-art and built in accordance with recognised safety regulations.
However, their use – especially in the event of incorrect operation or misuse – may pose a risk:
•
to the life and limb of the operator or a third party, or
•
of damage to the filter tank, or
•
to other material assets.
Anyone involved with assembly, start-up, operation, maintenance and servicing the filter tank must:
•
be mentally and physically suitable for it.
•
be trained in its use.
•
strictly follow this instruction manual.

NOTE
Danger from misuse!
Only use original replacement parts.
Modifications and alterations to the system components are forbidden for
safety reasons.
For safety reasons, modifications and alterations to the pipelines and the
electrical installation may only be carried out by qualified personnel.
NOTE
The filter tank is to be incorporated into Article 4(3) of the Pressure Equipment
Directive 2014/68/EU and may, as a result, not bear a CE mark.

B-08 tank, with water under 100°C
This type of tank is classified in accordance with DGR table 4 (diagram 4).
The operator is obliged to install a manual vent or a continuous vent at the
top of the tank (opening available)!
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
The filter tank must be connected to additional protection potential equalisa-
tion if there is an electrically conductive connection to electrical equipment.
This may be the case, for example, if the filter tank is connected to the filter
pump or other electrical equipment by means of electrically conductive pipes
(e.g. stainless steel pipes).
With regard to electrical installations in swimming pools, please observe
DIN VDE 0100 part 702.
