clockwise and tightened by turning it
anticlockwise.
Using the socket spanner (9), undo saw
blade retaining screw, remove flange
disk (18) and change the saw blade
(Fig. 2). Reassemble in reverse order.
Adjusting the tilt stop
To enable the saw to be set precisely at
right angle or at an angle of 45° in both
fence positions, the tilt stop must be
adjusted:
1. Fold down saw and fasten with the
locking pin (8).
2. Loosen twist-knob of the horizontal
mitre setting (6) for tilt setting on the
back of the saw.
3. Align saw blade at a 90° angle precisely
at right angles to the turntable (Fig. 3).
Check settings on the mitre scale (19).
Loosen screw (a) and set the arrow
mark (b) to the 0°/90° point on the
mitre scale. Retighten the screw (a)
firmly (Fig. 4).
4. If necessary, loosen locknut of the 90°
adjusting screw (15) and adjust the
fence screw so that the saw is up
against the fence screw at an angle
of exactly 90°. Re-tighten the counter
nut.
5. Carry out steps three and four on the
45° adjusting screw correspondingly
for an angle of 45° (Fig. 5).
Setting the cut angle
ATTENTION! Switch off appliance
and pull out mains plug.
For maximum material dimensions for
each angle setting, see Fig. 6.
