• The saw blade heats up during work, do
not touch it before it has cooled down.
• Replace bench insert, if worn.
• Exercise especial care when cutting
vertically.
• Do not try to stop the saw blade with
the hand.
• Fasten appliance to a stable base
before use.
• Make sure that, where possible, the
machine is always fastened to a work
bench or a table.
• The floor around the machine must be
flat, clean and free of loose particles.
• The person using the machine must
be sufficiently trained in the use,
setting and operation of the machine.
• Do not attempt to work material
containing asbestos.
• The saw head must be able to move
freely and return to its upper starting
position when released.
• Do not wedge ON/OFF switch in
position.
• When the button is released, the
appliance must come to a stop within
10 seconds.
• Do not remove cut-off pieces or other
workpiece parts from the cutting zone
while the machine is running.

7 – Installation and setting
ATTENTION! Before working on
the power tool, always pull out
the mains plug.

ATTENTION! Switch off
appliance and pull out mains
plug! Use only saw blades of the
specified size!
Move saw head (12) into its starting
position. Press locking lever (2) and
push safety hood (7) up. The saw blade
retaining screw (17) will then be exposed.
Press and hold down the saw spindle
lock (13).
ATTENTION! To prevent the saw
blade retaining screw from
vibrating loose, the screw is provided
with a left-hand thread. That means:
