are dangerous in the hands of
untrained users.
• Maintain power tools. Check for
misalignment or binding of moving
parts, breakage of parts and any
other condition that may affect the
power tool's operation. If damaged,
have the power tool repaired before
use. Many accidents are caused by
poorly maintained power tools.
• Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.
Properly maintained cutting tools with
sharp cutting edges are less likely to
bind and are easier to control.
• Use the power tool, accessories
and tool bits etc. in accordance
with these instructions, taking into
account the working conditions and
the work to be performed. Use of
the power tool for operations different
from those intended could result in a
hazardous situation.
Service
• Have your power tool serviced by a
qualified repair person using only
identical replacement parts. This
will ensure that the safety of the
power tool is maintained.

• The appliance must be plugged into a
230 V socket fitted with an earthing
contact and a 10 A minimum fuse.
• Do not expose appliance to rain or a
damp environment.

• Always check the appliance for faults
before starting up.
• Do not use saw blades of high-alloy
high-speed steel (HSS).
• Do not use saw blades which do not
comply with the characteristic data
specified in these operating instructions.
• Ensure that all moving parts of the saw
blade guard operate without binding.
• Use only sharp, intact saw blades and
suitable accessories.
• Clamp workpieces firmly before
working. Never hold them with the
hand.
• For large workpieces, use the workpiece
supports supplied with the appliance.
• Do not use flanges or flange nuts with
a hole larger or smaller than that of
the saw blade.
• Do not use damaged or misshapen
saw blades.
• When sawing, ensure that you do not
contact nails, screws or metallic parts.
• To keep noise to a minimum, use
noise-reduced saw blades, secure the
workpiece firmly so that it does not
vibrate and ensure that all parts of the
machine are in place and screwed
tight. Always use saw blades which
are clean and undamaged.
• Before using saw, always ensure that
guards are correctly fitted.
• Use only saw blades whose permitted
speed is at least as high as the idle
speed of the power tool.
