Read the complete manual before carrying out the installation and activating the system. Keep
the manual for future reference.
1. DESCRIPTION
The presence or absence detector 360° (master) for flush mounting consists of an integral unit with
on-off control of two channels, a motion sensor (PIR or passive infrared technology), a light sensor and an
integrated IR receiver. All external units, such as push buttons and lighting fixtures, are directly connected
to the detector, which is flush-mounted into the ceiling.
This detector can be used as a stand-alone unit or as a master in combination with one or more slaves
(350-20071, 350-20079 or 350-20081).
The detector can be installed and operated on the basis of the factory settings. For optimal lighting control,
it is recommended to adjust the factory settings to the environmental conditions and to the specific lighting
requirements. You can customise the settings on the device via the integrated potentiometers and DIP
switches, the IR remote control (not included) (350-20089) or the universal remote control for smartphone
(not included) (350-41936).
2. INSTALLATION
2.1. Connection
Danger: Disconnect all power before installing the detector.
Do not connect the device to the mains voltage until installation has been completed.
A. Stand-alone
Refer to the wiring diagram (fig. 1A).
B. In combination with one or more slaves
Refer to the wiring diagram (fig. 1B).
2.2. Mounting
Tip: Do not install the detector in the vicinity of heat sources such as stoves or electric heaters, air currents
(ventilation systems) or any moving objects (fig. 2). This can activate the device unnecessarily as it reacts
to motion and heat in its surroundings.
Tip: The recommended mounting height is 2 to 3.4 m. At a height of 3 m, the detector has a 24 m diameter
range (fig. 3)
The detector is supplied with a flush-mounting box with spring clips (fig. 4).
You can make the detector splashproof (IP54) by means of the gasket ring provided (fig. 4).
3. SETTINGS
3.1. Factory settings
At delivery the parameters of the detector are set as follows:
Parameter

application
- DIP switch 1: channel 1 automatic on/off (= presence detector)
- DIP switch 2: channel 2 automatic on/off (= presence detector)
- DIP switch 3:
• pressing the push button briefly allows you to switch the light on or off (= eco off)
• pressing the button for longer allows you to switch the light permanently on or
off for a period of 2 hours, excluding the switch-off delay
- DIP switch 4: a brief press is daylight-dependent

You can set channel 1 on the detector:
- ON: as presence detector (automatic on/off)
The detector automatically switches on the lighting, depending on the preset lux
value and when motion is detected.
- OFF: as absence detector (manual on/automatic off)
The detector only switches on the lighting when you press the push button briefly,
depending on the preset lux value.
The lighting will remain on for the duration of the preset switch-off delay after the
last motion is detected. As soon as the switch-off delay has elapsed, the lighting
switches off.
You can set channel 2 on the detector:
2
- ON: as presence detector (automatic on/off)
The detector automatically switches on the lighting, depending on the preset lux
value and when motion is detected.
- OFF: as absence detector (manual on/automatic off)
The detector only switches on the lighting when you press the push button briefly,
depending on the preset lux value.
The lighting will remain on for the duration of the preset switch-off delay after the
last motion is detected. As soon as the switch-off delay has elapsed, the lighting
switches off.

The 'eco off' function is the most energy-efficient way to switch on the lighting. You switch off the lighting yourself
1
without having to wait for the switch-off delay. If you do forget to switch off the lighting, it will be switched off
automatically after the switch-off delay has elapsed.
Sensitivity setting
Using the two DIP switches located on the very right you set the sensitivity of the motion sensor. You can choose
from the following options: minimum, low, high or maximum. Refer to figure 5 for the position of the DIP switches
depending on the desired sensitivity.
3.3 Setting one push button for both channels
This function allows you to control both channels with only one 230 V push button. This is particularly useful in
corridors and stairwells where the armatures are divided into different light groups.
With this function you can:
• Briefly press once to switch the light off (= eco off) if the detector functions as a presence detector (DIP
switch 1 and 2 ON)
• Briefly press once to switch the light on or off if the detector functions as an absence detector (DIP switch 1 and
2 OFF). It does not matter whether the push-button is connected to T1/S or T2. When the function is activated,
channel 1 will switch on first and channel 2 will switch on immediately afterwards.
Important! T1/S and T2 may never be short-circuited or connected in parallel.
3.3.1 One short push for both channels
You can programme this function with the IR remote control (not included) (350-20089) as follows:
1. Unlock the device by pressing
2. Press
The detector will confirm by flashing red.
3. Press
The detector will confirm by flashing red.
4. Press
The detector will confirm by flashing red twice. Channel 1 has now been activated.
5. Press
The detector will confirm by flashing blue.
6. Press
The detector will confirm by flashing blue.
7. Press
The detector will confirm by flashing blue twice. Channel 2 has now been activated.
8. Lock the device by pressing
The detector will confirm by flashing green twice.
Both channels will work when a push button which is connected to T1/S or T2 is briefly pressed once.
To cancel this function again with the IR remote control (not included) (350-20089), proceed as follows:
1. Unlock the device by pressing
2. Press
The detector will confirm by flashing red.
3. Press
The detector will confirm by flashing red. Channel 1 has now been deactivated.
4. Press
The detector will confirm by flashing blue.
5. Press
The detector will confirm by flashing blue. Channel 2 has now been deactivated.
6. Lock the device by pressing
The detector will confirm by flashing green twice.
Both channels can now be activated separately, each with their own push button which is respectively connected
with T1/S and T2.
3.3.2 One long push (> 1 sec) for both channels
You can programme this function with the IR remote control (not included) (350-20089) as follows:
1. Unlock the device by pressing
2. Press
The detector will confirm by flashing red.
3. Press
The detector will confirm by flashing red twice.
You can also make a selection from several functions for the push buttons that
are connected:
- ON: You can only switch on the lighting with a brief press. The 'eco off' and
'long push' functions are deactivated.
- OFF: With a brief press, the lighting can be either switched on or switched
off immediately without having to wait for the switch-off delay (= eco off
the lighting is switched off with the push button, the detector will be locked for ten
seconds to avoid the lighting from immediately being switched on again.
If you press the push button for longer than one second, the red indication LED will flash
(0.25 s on and 5 s off). The lighting and the preset switch-off delay will be activated or
deactivated for two hours.
- ON: A brief press is daylight-independent.
- OFF: A brief press is daylight-dependent.
A long push is always daylight-independent.
