Read the complete user manual before carrying out the installation and activating the
EN
system. Keep this manual for future reference.
1. DESCRIPTION
This pet insensitive motion detector registers the presence of persons and their movements via a passive infrared
sensor (PIR). It is most sensitive for diagonal movements passing through the detection area (see fig. 1a). The
sensor is equipped with the elimination of creeping zones. The sensitivity for movements directly towards the
sensor is about 50% less (see fig. 1b).
The motion detector comes in three different versions, depending on the detection angle:
• 120°: 351-2655x
• 240°: 351-2656x
• 300°: 351-2657x
The sensor only switches on once the set daylight condition (twilight level) is no longer reached. It remains active
as long as human movement is detected. Often pets are the reason the motion detector switches on incorrectly.
To limit this, the insensitivity function for pets is activated.

Bracket for corner mounting (see fig. 4c)
2. USE
The motion detector is suitable for controlling lighting.
Be aware of the following during installation:
• Mount the motion detector solely on stable ceilings.
• Hide moving objects within detection range by shielding the lens.
• Do not place any lighting closer than 1 m from the sensor (see fig 2).
• Do not mount the motion detector in the path of direct cold or hot air flow.
• The insensitivity function for pets works best at a mounting height of 2 to 3 m, when the sensor has a maximum
10° downwards angle (see fig. 1d). If it has a larger angle, the function does not work as well.
3. MOUNTING
The sensor is designed for mounting on the wall and ceiling, at a height of 2 to 5 m. The radius of the detection
range depends on the angle.
The detector is mounted as follows:
1. Release the base from the motion detector and mount it to the wall or ceiling.
2. Connect the wires to the clamp (see § 5).
3. Place the detector on the base again.
4. Configure the motion detector (see § 6).
4. WIRING
Connect the detector as shown in the wiring diagram in fig. 7a. You can switch the conductor to the R entrance
on and off with an external push button. Use a NO push button without indication LED and limit the length of
the electrical wires. Detectors can also be connected in parallel (7b).

Output relay
NO push button (optional)
(*) Remove the jumper between L and D1 if you do not want the output to be connected. If the jumper is active,
the load can be connected directly to D2 (7c). You will obtain a potential-free contact.
5. CONNECT DEVICES
A high inrush current decreases the life span of the relay integrated into the sensor. Respect the technical
specifications of the lighting manufacturers to prevent overloading the relay (see fig. 3a and 3b). We recommend
switching a maximum of 3 to 4 motion detectors in parallel. This keeps the switching circuit organized. If the
average number of switching cycles is more than average or in case of increased burden, we recommend to
run the load via an external relay or an external fuse.
6. CONFIGURATION
The motion detector is ready for use approximately 1 minute after connection to the electricity grid. The
settings can only be changed while the motion detector is switched on. You can change the settings using the
potentiometers on the device or the remote control 351-25320 (to be ordered separately).
6.1. Switch-off delay
Using the TIME potentiometer, the switch-off delay after the final movement is set (see fig. 5b). Once the relay
output is connected to a staircase timer, set the TIME switch to 'impulse'
6.2. Light sensitivity
Using the LUX potentiometer, you can set the threshold value of the twilight switch continuously ð (daytime
mode, 2,000 lux) and ƒ (night mode, 5 lux) (see fig. 5g).
6.3. Detection range
Using the SENS potentiometer, you can set the sensitivity of the PIR sensor (see fig. 5e).
6.4. Insensitivity to pets
With the PET potentiometer, the insensitivity to pets is activated or deactivated (see fig. 5f). This function hardly
reduces the detection range, however 90% of the time it does prevent the system from switching on due to
movements of pets.
7. EXTERNAL PUSH BUTTON
With this push button, the light can always be switched on and off. The status (ON or OFF) is extended with
each detection. After the final detection, the status remains the same until the switch-off delay has lapsed.
With a long push on the push button, you can choose the function 6 h ON or 6 h OFF. This function can be
switched off earlier, by briefly pushing the button:
