5.
Touch the measuring points with the probe tips.
If the input signal is >=1,0 V AC, the voltage is displayed. (V) An input
signal of <1,0 V AC indicates the resistance. (Ω)
6.
Once the reading stabilizes, read the value.
AC current- and DC Voltage measurement at the same time
(Note Fig. 6)
1.
Switch on the device with the rotary switch.
2.
Press the lever to open the induction jaw.
3.
Place the wire in the center of the pliers opening as far as possible and
close the measuring pliers again.
If the measured current is >0.2 A (AC) or >0.3 A (DC), the side display
indicates the measured value (A).
4.
Attach the pin-plug of the black test lead to the COM-jack and the
pin-plug of the red test lead to the VΩ-jack.
5.
Touch the measuring points with the probe tips.
If the input signal is >=0.5 V, the voltage is displayed. (V) An input signal of
<0.5 V indicates the resistance. (Ω)
6.
Once the reading stabilizes, read the value. If the polarity is twisted a
"Minus sign" is displayed.
AC current- (or DC current-) and Resistance measurement at the
same time
(Note Fig. 7)
If the resistance is less than about 50 Ω, you hear an audible signal. If the
circuit is open, (>10 MΩ) the display shows "- - - -".
