Derivation of the exiting air flow
The air discharged from the hood, regardless of the use in the recirculation or exhaust mode, must
be discharged from the cabinet. In this respect, it is necessary to cut out another opening in the
cabinet ceiling at the same place as the air outlet of the extractor hood. Through this, either the
exhaust hose routed to the wall outlet or in recirculation mode a pipe or hose connection is created
that blows the air out of the cabinet. One end of the pipe or hose is to be connected to the hood on
the exhaust port, the other end leads out of the closet and if necessary to a wall opening.
If after installation of the hood there is no access to the space, the air duct should be installed before
installation of the hood. The same applies to the power supply.
Usage
Inserting and changing the carbon filter
For recirculation operation, we recommend the use of a
charcoal filter, which removes odors from the cooking fumes.
The charcoal filter consists of a cassette filled with activated
charcoal, which is attached to the bottom of the motor inlet
(see fig.).
To mount the carbon filter, please take the following steps:
1. first remove the metal grease filters (1).
2. Hold the activated charcoal filter on the turbine housing and turn it clockwise (2).
3. then put the grease filter back in place.
The matching carbon filter for this model is called GE12
