Thank you for choosing a sling from
Etac.
Etac's slings is tested by accredited
and independent testing institutes and
comply with the requirements of the
Medical Devices Directive Class 1
products (MDD 93/42/EEC).
The slings also comply with the
requirements in standard ISO 10535.
In this manual, the user is the per-
son being lifted.
The assistant is the person opera-
ting the sling.
This symbol appears in the
manual along with text.
It indicates a need for cau-
tion when the safety of the
user or assistant may be at
risk.

The sling has a medium high back,
divided leg support and a medium
cut. The sling has a centred band at
the back and pockets at the bottom to
make it easier to position correctly. In
addition there is a steering handle ro
be used to position the user correct in
sitiing position.
