Before you connect the equipment to the mains
supply make sure that the data on the rating plate
are identical to the mains data.
Always pull the power plug before making
adjustments to the equipment.
5.1 Installing the dust collector (Figure 2-3/Item 6)
The dust collector (6) must be connected to the
dust extractor connector (a).
The dust is extracted directly through the
grinding/sanding paper and the orbital disk and
into the dust collector.
To empty the duct collector, open it as shown in
Fig. 3 and carefully tap it to remove the debris.
5.2 Installing the dust extractor adapter
(Figure 4/Item 9)
Connect the dust extractor adapter (9) to the dust
extractor connector (a) as shown in Fig. 4 and
secure it by turning it. Connect the dust extractor
adapter to a suitable dust extraction system.
Important.
The use of the dust collector or a dust extraction
system is absolutely essential for safety reasons.
5.3 Securing sanding/grinding paper using a
Velcro fastening (Fig. 5)
Only use sanding/grinding paper of the
appropriate size and suitable perforations.
Place the sanding/grinding paper on the
oscillating plate (7) as shown in Fig. 5. Make
sure that the perforations in the sanding/grinding
paper line up with the oscillating plate.
5.4 Securing sanding/grinding paper using a
clamp (Fig. 6)
Only use sanding/grinding paper of the appropriate
size and suitable perforations.
Raise the lever (8) on the front of the orbital
sander slightly and detach it.
Insert the sanding/grinding paper as far as
possible into the open clamp and close the lever
again.
Place the sanding/grinding paper taut over the
orbital plate (7) and clamp it again using the
second lever (8) on the rear of the orbital sander.
Make sure that the perforations in the
