5. Before starting the equipment

Warning!
Always remove the battery pack before making
adjustments to the equipment.
5.1 Assembling the drywall sander (Fig. 2)
Take the drywall sander out of the packaging,
unfold it and secure with the locking hook (11).
Make sure that the locking hook (11) engages
correctly.
5.2 Fitting the telescopic extension (Fig. 3)
Insert the telescopic extension (4) into the ope-
ning (a) on the equipment and lock it with the
locking lever for the telescopic extension (3).
Note:
Adjust the drywall power sander with the telesco-
pic extension (4) so that you can work with it most
comfortably. Observe the „Max" mark on the tele-
scopic extension: This must not be exceeded.
