5. If the motor does not start, repeat the jump starting process.
Notes:
The time of the jump starting process depends on the capacity of the
battery and on the charging state of the battery to be charged.
To check the current voltage level of the battery while jump starting, stop
operating the foot pedal for approx. 50 seconds. The LEDs of the charging
level indicator (2) indicate the current voltage level of the connected
battery.
If the battery still can not be charged after jump starting for several times
and the engine of the vehicle does not start, the battery may be defective.
In this case replace the battery with a new one.
Changing the Fuse in the Cigarette Lighter Plug
If jump starting remains unsuccessful and the charging indicator (3) does
not light up while operating the pedal, the fuse in the cigarette lighter plug
(9) of the charging cable (7) may have blown.
Replace it with a fuse of the same type and rating (glass fuse 5 A), as
pictured below.
