Jump Starting
1. Make sure that all consumers on the "dead" car, such as ignition, lights,
radio, air condition, heater etc. are turned off.
2. Open and fix the engine hood of the vehicle to be charged.
3. Remove the charging cable (7) from the storage tray (8) and put the
cigarette lighter plug (9) into the cigarette lighter socket (4).
4. First attach the red clamp of the charging cable (7) to the plus pole (+)
respectively the positive terminal of the dead battery. Then attach the black
clamp to an earthed contact of the vehicle's body. Most vehicles are
equipped with a corresponding point close to
the battery.
5. Rapidly step with your foot on the pedal (1).
The charging indicator (3) lights up while the
pedal is operated. Always floor the pedal
completely. Repeat this step for 2 – 5 minutes.
6. Remove the charging cable from the vehicle
and start the engine of the vehicle. If the motor
does not start, repeat the jump starting proce-
dure.
Charging the Vehicle's Battery via Cigarette Lighter Socket
1. Make sure that all consumers on the "dead" car, such as ignition, lights,
radio, air condition, heater etc. are turned off.
2. Remove the charging cable (7) from the storage tray (8) and insert the
cigarette lighter plug (9) into the cigarette lighter
socket of your vehicle.
3. Connect the clamps of the charging cable with
the charging contacts (6) of the foot powered
generator. Attach the red clamp to the plus pole
(+) and the black clamp to the minus pole (-).
4. Rapidly step with your foot on the pedal (1).
The charging indicator (3) lights up while the
pedal is operated. Always floor the pedal
completely. Repeat this step for 2 – 5 minutes.
Then disconnect the charging cable from the
cigarette lighter socket.
