6.3.2 Function test by measurement
The lateral connection of the red measurement valve is provided for con-
necting a vacuum gauge to test the system.
6.3.3 Function test of the indicators
1. Press the Test key.
- The green LED, the red LED and the yellow LED light up and the audi-
ble alarm sounds.
2. Press the Acknowledge button to terminate the function test.
Commissioning
1. Connect the pressure measuring instrument (vac-
uum).
2. Set the measurement valve (red connection) to posi-
tion "Test".
- The pressure measuring instrument indicates the
vacuum in the interstitial space.
3. Set the test valve (white connection) to position
"Vent".
- The vacuum drops slowly.
4. Observe the pressure measuring instrument and
record the pressure values at which the pump and the
alarm signals are switched on.
5. Set the test valve (white connection) to position "Nor-
mal Operation".
6. Compare the recorded values to the set values.
7. Set the measurement valve (red connection) to posi-
tion "Normal Operation".
8. Disconnect the pressure measuring instrument.
