Possible causes
Insufficient tightening of the
packing nut
Incorrect assembly of seals

No lubricant in the cup

The fluid is polymerized,
hardened, dried in the pump.
The cup is too tightened.

Tighten the cup.
Check the assembly.
Replace them.
