essary repair costs.

Burner(s) do not light or igniters do

The burner flame goes out unex-
pectedly.
The igniters spark even though the
knobs are in the off position.

12.1 Disposal of your old appliance
Environmentally compatible disposal allows valuable raw
materials to be recycled.
Unplug the appliance from the power supply.

The gas shut-off valve is not in the "ON" position or the gas supply to the house is
shut off.

Clear ports with a wire or straightened paper clip if clogged.

The igniters are dirty or wet.
Make sure the igniters are clean and dry.

The power supply is not properly grounded or has the wrong polarity.
Check the power supply. It should be properly grounded with the correct polarity.

The unit's power cord is not fully plugged into the power outlet or the circuit breaker
has tripped.
Ensure that the unit's power cord is fully plugged into the power outlet and the cir-

cuit breaker has not tripped.
There is a draft in the room.
Ensure that there is no draft in the room.

The electrical power connection has been activated at the first power-up or recon-
nected after an outage.
The igniters may spark once or twice, even though all burner knobs are in the

"OFF" position. This is normal.
The cooktop burner is not properly levelled.
Check the level of the cooktop burner during installation.

The cookware does not fit on the surface being used.
Choose a different surface or a different piece of cookware.

The cookware is not the recommended type or size.

The oven door glass is not inserted the right way round.
Check if the oven door glass is inserted the right way round (low-E symbol can

The inner door glass is missing or has not been inserted during reassembly.
