Preliminary Actions
This procedure must be performed by qualified personnel, in accordance with the requirements of F-Gas Regulation.
- Installation must be pre-cleaned
(limpid appearance of the system liquid, without visible impurities)
- If present, tank must be pre-cleaned, too.
- Proper water quality (hardness between 8 °F / 4,5 °dH and 15 °F / 8,5 °dH;
pH between 6.6 and 8.5)

- Minimum clearances between external unit / internal unit
and walls / floors / ceilings guaranteed (see image below)
- System Interface placed at least 1,5 m from the floor and far from heat sources,
drafts or opening to the outside
- Outdoor Sensor placed on the north-facing wall of the building, at least 2.5 m
from the ground and away from direct sunlight
- External unit must be installed on a perfectly horizontal and resistant base,
in an easily accessible place to allow installation and maintenance operations
- External unit must be placed at least 200 mm above the usual level of fallen snow,
in case of installation in a location with abundant snowfall

- External unit placed where noise and air discharged do not disturb the neighbors
- Protective screen placed, in case of strong wind presence
- No obstacle must limit the air inflow through the fan
- Condensate drain present
- Internal unit placed in a compartment at home in an easily accessible place
to allow installation and maintenance operations

- Internal unit properly fixed to the wall or anchored to the ground
- Condensate tray installed and drain connected
