A. Vacuuming of Solis containers with twist-knob on
the lid (see Fig. 11)
Wash the container in water and clean the lid with a
damp cloth; dry all completely.
Place the food into the container and leave at least
3 cm room between the food and the top edge of
the container (see Fig. 12). Clean the top edge of the
container again and the underside of the lid and the
seal of the container lid, then place the container lid
on the container. Turn the control dial on the lid to the
"SEAL" position (see Fig. 11).
Open the appliance cover. Take the air extraction
hose included in the Solis container set. Insert one
end of it into the air extraction opening
appliance and the other end into the opening of the
twist-knob on the lid (see Fig. 13+14).
Press the Canister Switch
vacuum process begins. To make sure that no air can
enter between the container and the lid, press down
on the lid of the container with your hand during
vacuuming. The appliance switches off automatically
once the required vacuum has been reached.
Gently pull out the air extraction hose from the lid.
To open the lid of the container, turn the control
dial to the "OPEN" position. You will hear a slight
hissing sound as the air enters the container again.
This hiss guarantees that there was an air vacuum in
the container.
