5.2.3 Settings

After switching on the unit, a default weight mode is
shown. If the unit then shows another weight mode,

The default is inches, however if you select millimeters
this setting will remain after you shut the unit off and
restart it.

Changing the Dimensions Unit
Default diameter and width setting: inches.
• Press the "mm" or "inch" icon (7A/7B, Fig. 4-10).
The measuring unit toggles between these settings.

Changing the Weight Unit

Default weight setting is in ounces.
It is possible to change between ounces and grams
before or after a balancing cycle has completed.
• Press the key " oz" or "g" icon (8A/8B, Fig. 4-10).
The measuring unit changes.
5.2.4

Shutting Down

Always shut down properly when work is complete:
• Remove the hub nut and the wheel from the
balancer.
• Remove the cones from the stub shaft. Check the
surfaces (internal and external) of the cones for
damage. The condition of the cone is very important
for a good balance quality.
• Store the cones and the hub nut in the correct place.
• Check the thread of the hub nut and stub shaft.
• Clean all threads and surfaces with a dry, soft cloth.
• Unplug the main cable from the power outlet.
• Check the power cable for damage or wear.
• Tidy up the storage areas.
• Clean the display and input panel with a soft, dry
cloth.
• Be sure the balancer is secured to the fl oor properly.
Remove old wheel weights taken off and any other
materials from under the balancer.

Removal of the wheel
• Carefully loosen the quick nut or the mounting
studs.
• Do not slide the rim on the threading, but lift the
wheel when removing it.
• Check the thread for damage and clean if necessary.
