Caution:
• When the table rotates to 0° , and the miter cutting head is vertical to the table face, the cutting wood thickness cannot be more than 55 mm, and the cutting
width more than 115mm.
• When the table rotates 45° to the left, and the miter cutting head is vertical to the table face, the cutting wood thickness cannot be more than 55 mm, and
the cutting width more than 65mm.
• When the table rotates 45° to the right, and the miter cutting head is vertical to the table face, the cutting wood thickness cannot be more than 55 mm, and
the cutting width more than 65mm.
After the appropriate settings have been made, you can proceed to angle cutting, following the same steps as when chop cutting.
Caution:
• When the cutting head rotates to 45° to the left side, and the table stays on the 0° position, the cutting wood thickness cannot be more than 35mm, and the
cutting width more than 115mm.
• When the cutting head is turned 45° to the left side and the table is rotated to the left by 45°, the cutting wood thickness cannot be more than 30mm, and
the cutting width more than 45mm.
• When the cutting head is turned 45° to the left side and the table is rotated to the right by 45°, the cutting wood thickness cannot be more than 30mm, and
the cutting width more than 70mm.
NOTE: Always make a practice run with the machine switched off so that you can check the path of the blade. Some bevel and compound cuts may require
the clamp to be positioned on the right hand side of the cutting head. This may be necessary to avoid interference with the blade and other parts of the tool
when the cutting head is lowered.
Compound cutting
A compound cut is a combination of a miter cut and bevel cut.
• Set the miter angle required as previously described.
• Set the bevel angle as previously described.
• Ensure the tightness off all adjustment / locking screws, and conduct a test run to check the path of the blade.
• Make the cut as previously described.
WARNING: Always disconnect the tool from the power source before making any adjustments to the cutting angles.
Bevel cutting
1. The cutting head can be set at an angle up to 45° from the left hand side only.
2. The bevel locking screw is behind the tool's base. A protractor guide and pointer are incorporated
into the bevel mechanism to aid setting.
3. Unscrew the bevel locking screw and turn the cutting head by hand.
4. Tighten the bevel locking screw securely when the desired angle has been selected.
After the appropriate settings have been made, you can proceed to bevel cutting, following the
same steps as when chop cutting.
