2.4 General Terms and
Conditions for Sale
and Delivery
The general terms and conditions
applicable at the time of delivery
apply for the sale and delivery of
Oventrop.
2.5 Storage
The valve may only be stored
under the following conditions:
- Storage temperature: -4 to
+140 °F (-20 °C to +60 °C)
- Keep dry and protected from
dust.
- Prevent UV radiation and
direct sunlight.
- The valve (including accesso-
ries and spare parts) must not
be stored together in the same
room with solvents, chemi-
cals, acids, fuels, or the like.

Safety Notices
3.1 Intended Use
The Oventrop "Hydrocontrol
MTR" valve (lead-free ≤ 0.25%
Pb) is intended for installation
in heating and cooling system
pipework.
Any use of the valve beyond this
or other than this, particularly
in drinking water systems, is
not the use it is intended for.

"Hydrocontrol MTR" (lead-free)
In addition, the valve is not suit-
able for gases or media that
contain oil or are aggressive.
The manufacturer will not be
liable for these kinds of non-in-
tended use. The risk will be
borne by the user alone.
The event of an external fire was
not taken into consideration
when designing the valve.
3.1.1 Changes to the Product
Modifying the valve is not per-
missible.
3.2 Definition of
Warning Notices
Warning notices in these instruc-
tions are marked by a warning
symbol, followed by a signal
word in each instance. The signal
words define the severity of the
risk that arises from a situation.
Pay attention to the warning
notices in order to avoid acci-
dents, personal injuries, and ma-
terial damages.
