Maiden Run
Give all the batteries a full charge and carefully test each of the model's working systems in turn. Check that
all the non-fixed parts cannot fall off. You should now be ready for the boat's maiden run. Keep the cruiser's
speed low initially, and take your time to become accustomed to its handling characteristics. The model has
a fair turn of speed and takes quite a long time to stop. It should therefore be operated only on a fairly large
lake or other stretch of water. Don't run the boat too far from the bank until you have gained confidence in it.
We wish you many hours of pleasure building and running your model of the Bernhard Gruben.
