PC Connection
PHOTOVU LINK Driver (Optional)
An image recorded on the DV Tape can be transferred to your PC (Personal Computer).
System Requirements for PHOTOVU LINK Driver
• IBM PC/AT or compatible
• Intel Pentium Processor
• Microsoft Windows 95/98/Me/NT4.0/2000/
XP
• RAM: 16 MB or more
• 2 MB minimum available hard disk
space
• 256 colour monitor (full colour
recommended)
Satisfy the conditions recommended by Microsoft for Windows.
Connection

Turn off your PC.

Connect the Palmcorder to your PC (Windows) using the PC connecting cable
(optional: PC Connection Unit (PV-DRS2, p 49)).
• Before connecting the Palmcorder to the PC, make sure the PC
power is off to ensure that images are transferred properly.

Turn on your PC.

Set the Palmcorder POWER to VCR.
Note
• For extended periods of use, it is recommended to use the AC Adaptor as a power
source.
• Refer to PC or Windows manual to identify which COM port is to be used for connection.
