Components filled with reagent
The cylinder, valves, telescoping filling tube and discharge tube contain reagent!
> Never remove the discharge tube while the dispensing cylinder is filled.
> Point the valves and tube openings away from your body.
> Wear protective clothing, eye protection and appropriate hand protection!
The instrument must be cleaned in the following situations to assure correct operation:
immediately when the piston is difficult
to move
prior to a reagent change
prior to long term storage
prior to dismantling the instrument
prior to autoclaving

a.
Insert the pin of the assembly tool into the cover plate
(Pos. 1), and break it off with a rotating motion. Discard

the adjustment cover.
b.
Insert the pin of the assembly tool into the adjustment
screw and rotate to the left in order to increase the dis-
pensing volume, or rotate to the right to decrease the
dispensing volume (e.g. for an actual value of 9.97 ml, ro-
tate approx. 1/2 turn to the left).
ð Adjustment is completed
ð The change in the adjustment is indicated by a red disk
(circle in figure).
