Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING
• Unplug the unit and let it cool completely before cleaning
it. Never immerse the unit's electrical parts in water
during cleaning or whenever the unit is in use. Never
expose the unit to running water.
• Never use solvents, abrasive materials, hard brushes
or metal/sharp objects to clean the unit. Solvents can
pose a risk to our health and can eat away at the plastic
components, whilst aggressive cleaning mechanisms
and tools can scratch the surfaces.
• Remove all the oil or vegetable fat from the frying tank.
• Clean the unit's exterior surfaces with a damp cloth, and dry
them thoroughly.
• Make sure that no liquid enters the inside of the unit (e.g. via
the button).
• Open the unit's lid and detach it for cleaning purposes.
• Pull the lid upwards, away from the unit.
• Firstly, remove the filter from the lid.
• Clean both the unit and filter lids with a damp sponge and
washing-up liquid. The filter lid is also dishwasher-safe. Rinse
the lid with water and then let it dry.
• Make sure that both the unit and filter lids are completely dry.
Reposition the filter inside the unit's lid and secure the filter
lid. Replace the unit's lid on the body of the fryer.
• Clean the frying basket and tank with hot water and washing-
up liquid. The basket is also dishwasher-safe. Thoroughly and
completely dry the parts.
• Clean the fryer's interior and exterior with a damp cloth.
• When all the parts have been cleaned, correctly reassemble
the unit.
