3. TRANSPORT AND INTERIM STORAGE

Inspect the pump/system for transport damage
immediately upon arrival. Any transport damage
found must be reported to the carrier within the
prescribed periods.
CAUTION! Risk of damage to the pump!
Risk of damage due to improper handling during
transport or storage.
• The pump is to be protected against moisture and
mechanical damage due to impact/shock.
• The pumps must not be exposed to temperatures
outside the range -10°C to +50°C.
4. APPLICATIONS
The circulation pumps in the SIRIUX Jr / BMS series are
designed for warm water heating systems and similar
systems with constantly changing flow volumes. An
infinite adjustment of the pump output to the actual
heat demand of the system is achieved with the
electronic differential pressure control of this pump.
The circulation pump CELCIUX is suitable for drinking
water only.

5. PRODUCT DATA

5.2 Suitable fluids
Siriux Jr ;
• Heating water according to VDI 2035.
• If glycol is added, the delivery data of the pump
must be corrected according to the higher viscosity,
depending on the percentage mixing ratio.

• SALMSON's approval must be obtained for use of
other media.

5.3 Scope of supply

6. DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

6.1 Pump (fig. 1)
- The circulation pump is equipped with a wet-running
motor.
- The CELCIUX circulation pump is specially designed
for the operating conditions in drinking water.
Because of the choice of materials and design, it is
corrosion-resistant to all the constituents in the
drinking water.
- An electronic control module (item 1) is located on
the motor
- housing, which controls the differential pressure of
the pump to an adjustable value between 1 and 3 m
or 1 and 5 m. Therefore, the pump adapts
continuously to a changing output demand of the
installation, as occurs with the use of thermostatic
valves in particular.
