Service adapter
The service adapter is exclusively for connection to E+H approved service interfaces.
Warning:
It is not permissible to connect the service adapter in explosive atmospheres.
Device fuse
Warning:
Use only fuses of the following types; the fuses are installed on the power supply board:
• Voltage 20...55 V AC / 16...62 V DC:
fuse 2.0 A slow-blow, disconnect capacity 1500 A
(Schurter, 0001.2503 or Wickmann, Standard Type 181 2.0 A)
• Voltage 85...260 V AC:
fuse 0.8 A slow-blow, disconnect capacity 1500 A
(Schurter, 0001.2507 or Wickmann, Standard Type 181 0.8 A)

For number references see the figures on Pages 2 and 3.
➄ Cable entries for the transmitter terminal compartment (EEx d version)
power supply / electric circuit cable: (Promass 80***-******B/C/3/4*****)
Choice of thread for cable entries, M20x1.5 or ½" NPT or G ½" thread.
Make sure that the EEx d cable glands/entries are secured to prevent working
loose and that the seals are installed immediately adjacent to the housing.

power supply / electric circuit cable: (Promass 80***-******D/E/5/6*****)
Choice of cable gland M20x1.5 or thread for cable entry, ½" NPT, G ½" thread or
13.5 conduit thread.

sensor cable connection:
Choice of cable gland M20x1.5 or thread for cable entry, ½" NPT, G ½" thread or
13.5 conduit thread.

Cable specifications

The sensor cable connection (electrode circuit) between sensor and transmitter has an
EEx ia type of protection rating.
Caution:
Use only the cable sets supplied by E+H.
