Getting to Know your Switch
Front-Panel LEDs
Belkin 16- and 24-Port 10/100 Network Switches feature two rows of LEDs
that provide information about connection speed, link/activity, plus a
separate Power LED.

(a) Power (POWER) LED
• Green – Power on, normal operation
• Off – Power off, no power to the Switch
(b) Link and Activity (Link/Act) LED
• Solid Green – 100Base-Tx network device is correctly connected to the
Switch through this port
• Blinking Green – Data is being transmitted and received through this port
at 100Mbps
• Solid Orange – 10Base-T network device is correctly connected to the
Switch through this port
• Blinking Orange – Data is being transmitted and received through this
port at 10Mbps
• Off – No link is established
