Maintenance
Warning
Cleaning with ladders, mobile scaffolds and other devices should only be performed by skilled professionals who must comply
with the safety regulations (Presidential Decree 164–Legislative Decree 626–Legislative Decree 494) and use individual protective
equipment such as safety harnesses with safety ropes.
Despite the high quality of the weaving, fabric treatment, and manufacture, the awning fabrics may be subject to the following:
1. MOULD: The high concentration of pollutants in the atmosphere and the resulting acid rain, as well as the location of
the clamp awning near roads, ventilation openings or tall trees that lose resin and other plant matter can cause a high
number of microorganisms to settle in the awning fabric if it is not cleaned properly, despite the anti-mould treatment,
so that it can then no longer be cleaned completely. The impermeability of waterproof and
printed fabric or PVA fabric is only guaranteed by the absence of mould.
2. WRINKLES/COBWEB EFFECT: This can occur from the packing of the fabric. These folds may leave darker streaks on
the fabric, especially in light colours. However, this does not affect the quality of the clamp awning.
3. RIPPLES: Can occur at the seams of the side edges and are caused by the double layer of
fabric being subjected to different tensions when rolled up.
4. FRAYING AND ABRASION: The overhang may fray and show signs of wear and abrasion
if exposed to continuous strong winds.
IMPORTANT: The conditions described in points 1, 2, 3 and 4 are not product defects and are therefore not covered by
the warranty.
Disassembly and disposal
