IMPORTANT!

Intended purpose and place of use

The purpose of the clamp awning is to protect the area underneath it from sunlight and to reduce reflection. This involves reach-
ing and maintaining the maximum extension or retraction position as well as
any intermediate positions.
Note: The clamp awning may only be used for the above-mentioned intended purpose, even if it is made of waterproof or PVC
fabric. CAUTION: Any use other than that specified above
is PROHIBITED, as it could result in hazardous situations for you and others.
Warning
IT IS PROHIBITED to place and/or lean objects against the clamp awning.
Improper use exempts the manufacturer from any liability for possible personal injury or property damage.
Failure to comply with the conditions of use will result in the automatic forfeiture of any type of manufacturer's warranty.
IT IS PROHIBITED to disassemble or convert the clamp awning in any way.
CAUTION: The clamp awning must be RETRACTED completely in the event of rain, wind (from wind force 4, 20-28 km/h accord-
ing to the Beaufort scale: small deciduous trees begin to sway, whitecaps form on lakes), or snowfall.
Otherwise there is a risk of personal injury or damage to property due to overloading.
INFORMATION AND PRECAUTIONS
Use in freezing conditions can cause damage to the clamp awning!
CAUTION: It is forbidden to set up or install ladders or other fixed objects in the vicinity of the clamp awning that could restrict
the awning's effective range.
Use and installation requirements
Normal operation of the clamp awning can be carried out by persons without specialist knowledge, provided they are over 12
years of age. Installation, repair and maintenance must be carried out in accordance with these installation/operating instructions.
The clamp awning must be completely retracted in the event of rain, wind (from wind force 4, 20-28 km/h according to the Beau-
fort scale) or snowfall, due to risk of personal injury or damage to property.
Check that no persons are within range when extending or retracting the clamp awning.
Do not place any objects on the awning fabric.
It is strictly forbidden to hang or lean on the clamp awning due to risk of personal injury or damage to the awning. If you have
any other questions, please contact your dealer BEFORE operating the clamp awning. The user must not tamper with or modify
the clamp awning in any way that exceeds their area of competence (see "Intended Purpose and Place of Use" on page 31 and
"Maintenance" on page 19).
In the event of modifications/alterations to the product carried out without the manufacturer's approval, the latter shall be
released from any liability for any resulting damage. The user must inform the dealer immediately of any defects and/or malfunc-
tions of the safety features or the incidence of dangerous situations.
Installation, initial operation, adjustment and exceptional maintenance of the clamp awning should only be carried out in accord-
ance with these installation/operating instructions.

Residual risks

DANGER OF IMPACT: There is a risk of injury from impact if the drop arm is left extended/down.
