Important information for first-time operation

IMPORTANT!
CAUTION! Read carefully the chapters "Safety" and "Intended Purpose and Place of Use" on page 31 before using the clamp
awning.
Warning
CAUTION! Check that no persons are within range when extending or retracting the clamp awning. CAUTION! The clamp awning
must be fully retracted in the event of rain, wind or snowfall.
Otherwise there is a risk of personal injury or damage to property.
• Use the clamp awning only to provide shade from the sun and for the purposes specified in the chapter "Intended Purpose
and Place of Use" in these instructions.
• It is strictly forbidden to climb onto the clamp awning or hang/place objects on it.
• In the event of mould, treat the fabric according to the instructions in the chapter "Maintenance".
If the clamp awning is installed in a school, boarding school, hospital, nursing home, or a similar facility,
the winch must never be left unattended, in order to prevent consequential damage due to incorrect operation.

Manual operation of the clamp awning
The clamp awning is extended and retracted by using the crank handle.
IMPORTANT!
Retract the clamp awning only when it is completely dry; if it is rolled up when damp, it can be subject to mould, which can cause
the seams to swell.
