Never cut materials containing asbestos with this angle grider.
Secure the work piece and place suitable wedges under the
work piece. When operating the angle grinder, do not press
the cutting disc too hard on the work piece. The self weight of
the angle grinder is enough to perform the cut. Avoid
overheating the cutting disc; allow the disc to cool down
sufficiently.
Make sure the cutting disc cannot get jammed or laterally
stressed while cutting. The cutting disc must be inserted
straight into the cutting gap of the work piece.
Always try to cut the work piece in one go.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Before undertaking any cleaning or maintenance work on the
machine, pull the power plug.
Keep the machine clean. Make sure the ventillation slots are
always clean and free from obstructions. Clean the angle
grinder with a soft cloth, which may be slightly moistened at
the utmost.
Do not immerse the machine in liquids of any kind and do not
allow liquids to enter the machine.
Store the amgle grinder in a dry place and protect it from dust
and dirt.
If the machine works powerless and sparking occurs at the
brushes, it may be a sign that the carbon brushes are spent
and have to be replaced. Have the carbon brushes replaced
by a professional only or return the unit to the our customer
support department. Do not open the housing of the angle
grinder. Do not try to repair it yourself.
