 Left/Right-handed operation: The machine can be adjusted
for either left or right-handed users by changing the position of
the auxiliary handle (3). The handle can be screwed on either
the left or right side of the housing.

Replacing and Adjusting the Protective Cover

The protective cover (4) resp. (7) should be aligned is such a way
that it protects you from sparks and flying debris.
 The protective cover ist equiopped with a quick lock. To open
the quick lock move the lever upwarts and to close the quick
lock pull the lever downwards.
 If necessary, tighten the quick lock with the hex nut.

Hints on Operation

 When using cutting discs with
the angle grinder, always use
the protective cover (7) that has
been designed for use with
cutting discs.
 Please note that during work
the cutting disc and the work
piece become very hot. There is
a risk of burns! Always to use the correct cutting disc for
the job.
 When using the angle grinder for cutting, avoit tilting the angle
grinder out of the cutting line. It is advisable to use diamond
discs when cutting hard stone.
 For the best results while rough grinding hold the machine
against the surface in an angle between 30° and 40° in
smooth, even movements.
