Operation

 Please note: The voltage of the power source must
correspond to the specification stated on the rating label
affixed to the machine.
 Pay particular attention to the specifications of the grinding
disc. Never use discs with a diameter larger than 125 mm.
 Use only cutting or grinding discs with a maximum permitted
rotation speed of 12000 rounds per minute.
 Always use the protective cover (4) or (7). The position of the
cover can be changed according to different job requirements.
Ensure that the grinding disc can move freely.
 Test run of new grinding discs: After mounting of a new
grinding disc, perform a test run for at least 1 minute, under no
load. Any discs which cause the machine to vibrate must be
exchanged immediately. Keep the grinding disc away from
moisture and oil and protect it from either hitting or severely
bumping against any object. Ensure that the disc rotates in the
direction of the arrow printed on the machine housing.
 Switching ON/OFF: Always use both hands when operating
the machine and always use the auxiliary handle (3). To turn
the angle grinder on, push the ON/OFF switch (2). To lock the
ON/OFF switch in this position, push the switch up to the end
and press it down.
 To switch off the angle grinder, press the ON/OFF switch (2)
on the outer end. The switch releases and the angle grinder
turns off.
 Protection against accidental restart: The machine is
equipped with a protection against accidental restart. This
means the machine will not restart uncontrolled after a power
failure. In such a case the machine must be restarted
manually.
