STORAGE
_ Carefully clean the whole appliance and its accessories.
_ Store it out of the reach of children, in a stable and safe position, in a cool and dry place, avoid excessively high
and low temperatures.
_ Protect the appliance from direct sunlight. If possible, store it in the dark.
_ Do not store it in plastic bags as humidity could form inside.
Storing the battery
_ Store your batteries in a cool environment. The optimal temperature for storing your Li-ion battery for an
extended period is 2 °C (the loss of capacity will be only 6 % per year (loss of 20 % at 25 °C)). Never store the
batteries when they are discharged.
_ It is preferable to regularly recharge Li-ion batteries when they are discharged. An optimal level of charge for
prolonged storage of your Li-ion battery is 40 % of its capacity.

AFTER-SALES SERVICE

_ A damaged switch must be replaced in our after-sales service workshops.
_ If replacement of the power cord is necessary, this must be realised by the manufacturer or its agent to avoid
danger.

WARRANTY
This product is covered by a warranty for a period of 36 months effective from the date of purchase by the first
user.
This warranty covers all material failures or manufacturing defects, and does not include: the batteries, the
chargers, defects caused by normal wear of parts, such as bearings, brushes, cables, plugs or accessories such
as drill bits, burrs, saw blades, etc.; damages or defects resulting from improper use, accidents or modifications;
neither does it cover shipping fees.
The damages and/or defects resulting from improper use do not figure in the clauses of the warranty either.
We reject all responsibility for any physical injury resulting from improper use of the appliance.

All shipping costs must be borne by the customer, unless otherwise indicated in writing.
Additionally, no claim can be made within the framework of the warranty if the damage to the appliance is the
result of negligence with regard to maintenance or overloading the appliance.
Any damages resulting from the penetration of fluid, the penetration of a large quantity of dust, voluntary
damage (deliberate or by grave negligence), improper use (uses for which the appliance is not intended),
incorrect use (for example, non-respect of instructions indicated in the manual), incorrect assembly, a lightning
strike, incorrect voltage, are not covered by the warranty. This list is not restrictive.
The acceptance of claims under warranty can under no circumstances result in the prolongation of the
warranty period nor in a new warranty period in the case of replacement of the appliance.
The appliances or parts replaced under warranty are consequently the property of ELEM GARDEN
TECHNIC.
We reserve the right to reject any claims in cases in which the purchase cannot be verified, and where it is
evident that the product has not been correctly maintained. (Cleaning ventilation orifices, regular maintenance of
carbon brushes, etc.)
Your purchase receipt must be conserved as proof of the date of purchase.
Your non-dismantled appliance must be sent back to your dealer in an acceptable state of cleanliness
accompanied by your proof of purchase.
Your appliance must be charged at least once per month in order to guarantee an optimal functioning of this
appliance.
