Principal cleaning and maintenance work
Do not clean the appliance
with a water jet or pressure

Replacing the blade
If the blade is blunt, it is possible to have it
sharpened in a specialised workshop.
If the blade is damaged or imbalanced, it must be
replaced.
1. Turn over the appliance.
2. Use thick gloves and hold the blade in place.
Turn the blade bolt anticlockwise with the aid of an
adjustable spanner (size 14) and remove from the
motor spindle.
3. Insert the new blade by reversing the above
procedure. Make sure that the blade is well
positioned and that the blade bolt is well tightened.
Storage
Loosen the tightening levers and fold down the
upper bar and lower bar, so that the appliance takes
up less space.
The machine cables must not be caught in the
folded bars.
Store the appliance in a dry environment and out
of the reach of children.
Allow the motor to cool down before storing the
appliance in an enclosed space.
Remove the battery from the appliance before a
long period of storage (for example over winter).
