§ Familiarise yourself with the operating instructions
and the safety instructions before charging the
battery pack.
§ Do not use appliances, accessories or chargers
for tasks other than those for which they are
intended.
§ Before drilling holes or screwing into a wall, if in
doubt, check with a metal/current detector that there
is no risk of drilling/screwing into an electrical cable,
or a gas or water pipe.
§ Before putting down the powered drill/screwdriver,
check that all the moving parts are stationary.
§ Avoid frequent blockages when drilling or
screwing, this can damage the batteries.
§ Only use the prescribed charger for charging the
battery pack. Do not use this charger to charge
other types of battery packs. Any power supply unit
must be used exclusively with the charger unit and
the battery of the same reference.
§ Only use the charger in a dry environment and at
a temperature between 10 °C and 40 °C.
§ Do not use the charger if it is damaged.
§ Only refer repairs of the charger and the battery
pack to our technical support service.
§ Avoid short circuiting the battery pack. Ensure that
the battery pack contacts cannot come into contact
with metallic objects.
§ Do not store the battery pack in places where the
temperature may exceed 50
°C, for example in a car parked under the sun.
§ Do not burn the battery pack.
§ Never attempt to open the battery pack.
§ In case of contact between the liquid from the
battery pack (potassium hydroxide solution at 25-
30%) and the skin, immediately rinse the skin
thoroughly with water. Neutralise the liquid with a
weak acid, such as vinegar or lemon juice. In case
of contact between the liquid from the battery pack
and the eyes, rinse the eyes under running water for
at least 10 minutes and immediately consult a
doctor.

Charger
This device can be used by children of at least 8
years of age, by persons whose physical,
sensory or mental capabilities are impaired, and
by persons without the necessary experience or
knowledge, if they are correctly supervised or if
instructions relating to the safe operation of the
device have been given to them and if they have
been made aware of the risks involved. Children
must not play with the device. Cleaning and
maintenance by the user must not be carried out
by unsupervised children.
Protect the battery charger from rain and humidity.
The penetration of water into a battery charger
increases the risk of electric shock.
Only recharge with the charger indicated by the
manufacturer. A charger is adapted to a type of
battery, its use with another battery can result in a
fire risk.
Do not charge other batteries. The battery charger
is intended only for charging our batteries within the
range of voltages indicated. If it is used otherwise,
there is a risk of fire and explosion.
Keep the battery charger clean. Contamination
can result in an electric shock.
Inspect the battery charger, the cable and the plug
before each use. Do not use the battery charger if
defects are observed. Do not open the battery
charger by yourself and only have it repaired by a
qualified person using replacement parts from the
original manufacturer. Damaged battery chargers,
cables and plugs increase the risk of electric shock.
Do not use the battery charger on easily
inflammable surfaces (for example, paper, textiles,
etc.) or in inflammable environments. There is a risk
of fire due to the heat produced by the battery
charger during the charging process.
The power cord cannot be replaced. If the power
cord is damaged, the device should be disposed of.
