Clean the tool by wiping off dust, dirt, or cut off grass

Replacing the nylon cord
WARNING:
Use nylon cord with diameter specified in "SPECIFICATIONS" only. Never use heavier line,
metal wire, rope or the like. U s e r e c o m m e n d e d n y l o n c o r d o n l y , o t h e r w i s e i t m a y c a u s e d a m a g e t o t h e t o o l a n d
result in serious personal injury.
WARNING:
Make sure that the cover of the nylon cutting head is secured to the housing properly as
described below. Failure to properly secure the cover may cause the nylon cutting head to fly apart resulting in
serious personal injury.
CAUTION:
When installing or removing the nylon cord, be careful not to contact the nylon cord cutter
on the protector. Contact with the cutter may result in personal injury.
