Switch action
WARNING:
Before installing the battery car-
tridge into the tool, always check to see that the
switch trigger actuates properly and returns to
the "OFF" position when released.
WARNING:
For your safety, this tool is
equipped with the lock-off button which prevents
the tool from unintended starting. Never use the
tool if it starts when you pull the switch trigger
without pressing the lock-off button. A s k y o u r l o c a l

Never disable the lock function or
tape down the lock-off button.
NOTICE:
Do not pull the switch trigger forcibly

To start the tool, press the lock-off button and pull the
s w i t c h t r i g g e r . R e l e a s e t h e s w i t c h t r i g g e r t o s t o p . T h e
lock-off button can be pressed from either the right or
l e f t s i d e .

Adjusting the cutting angle
CAUTION:
Always be sure that the tool is
switched off before adjusting the cutting angle.
The cutting angle can be adjusted in 5 steps. To change
t h e c u t t i n g a n g l e , c h a n g e t h e a n g l e o f t h e m o t o r h o u s -
ing while pressing the angle adjustment button.
