User instructions
The CPV valve terminal with DeviceNet direct connection is ex-
clusively for use as a slave in the DeviceNet. The limit values
given in the technical data must be complied with.
Detailed information can be found in the manual "CPV valve
terminal with direct connection type CPV..-GE-DN-8".
WARNING:
•
Switch off the power before inserting or removing the plug
(functional damage).
•
Use power supplies which guarantee reliable electrical isola-
tion of the operating voltage as per IEC/DIN EN 60204-1.
Consider also the general requirements for PELV circuits in
accordance with IEC/DIN EN 60204-1.
•
Connect the earth connection of the left end plate with a low
impedance (short cable, large cross-section) to the earth
potential.
NOTE:
Only operate a fully fitted and wired CPV valve terminal.
