6. FILE AND MEMORY MANAGEMENT
The PS-011 programmer offers the possibility of exploring any type of fi le that is either in internal memory
or on a connected USB stick or SD card. To access the contents of such fi les, select the option Manage
fi les from the Main menu.
If you have some form of external memory connected, select the one which you wish to explore. If, on the
other hand, you have not connected a USB stick or SD card, the programmer will automatically access
the internal memory, showing the fi les which it contains.
To copy, cut or delete a fi le, press the MENU key on any of the fi les which are shown on the screen and
select the option you desire. If you wish to copy or cut a fi le, select the appropriate option, then go to the
directory where you want to place the fi le and press the MENU key. From the list, select Paste fi le.

You can also format USB memory sticks and SD cards which are connected to the PS-011. From the Main
menu, select Confi gure PS programmer; then choose either Format USB fl ash drive or Format SD card.
7. MANAGING ALCAD PROGRAMMABLE SERIES
The PS-011 programmer allows the user to confi gure and to program ALCAD devices designed for infrared
communication. A list of the series which can be programmed using the remote control is displayed on
the screen by choosing Select series from the Main menu.
The programming of each series depends on the characteristics of each particular device. For each
device, consult the fast programming guides with PS-011 which come with the programmer or, failing
that, download them from the ALCAD website (www.alcad.net).
