MONTAGE DEMONTAGE (REVISION)
Démontage
Vidanger le carter, désaccoupler moteur et réducteur.
Retirer les vis (41) et déposer l'ensemble de la pignon-
nerie. Les ensembles porte-satellites ne peuvent pas
être démontés.
Pour déposer l'arbre de sortie, retirer les circlips (39) ou
l'écrou (40).
Sortir l'arbre en tapant côté l'intérieur avec un maillet.
Remontage
Nettoyer soigneusement toutes les pièces.
Pour plus de sûreté, changer toutes les bagues à lèvres.
Montage de l'arbre lent :
• Monter sur l'arbre le roulement (30).
• Introduire l'ensemble par l'avant du carter (1).
• Monter le roulement (31) par l'intérieur du carter puis le
circlips (39) ou l'écrou (40).
• Replacer le joint (32).
Nota : le roulement conique extérieur des réducteurs
verticaux doivent être bourrés de graisse.
Le réducteur étant maintenu vertical, empiler les couron-
nes et entretoises avec de la pâte joint LOCTITE 510 ou
équivalent.
Empiler les porte-satellites (11), (12), (13) et pignons
dans l'ordre où ils étaient.
Fermer avec le carter (2) et son joint (faire l'étanchéité
avec du LOCTITE 510 ou équivalent).
Serrer les vis ou goujons (41) à la clé dynamométrique.
Remonter le moteur par 4 écrous.
Faire le plein d'huile avec vérification des bouchons
vidange, remplissage, niveau.
Pour toute révision ou réparation, il est dans tous les cas
préférable de renvoyer le réducteur en usine.

DISMANTLING AND RE-ASSEMBLY
To dismantle
Drain the gearbox and remove the motor.
Undo the screws (41) and take out the pinion gears.
The satellite carrier assemblies cannot be dismantled.
Remove the output shaft by extracting the circlip (39) or
the nut (40), and tap the internal end of the shaft with a
hide hammer.
Re-assembly
All parts must be carefully cleaned. New seals are
recommended.
Shaft assembly :
Fit the bearing (30) to the output shaft, and insert the
shaft into the front of the box.
The bearing (31) is then fitted internally, followed by the
circlip (39) or nut (40), and the seal (32). (The external
tapered roller bearing must be filled with grease, for
vertical mounting positions).
Holding the box vertically, secure crowns and spacers
with LOCTITE 510 or similar.
Replace satellite assemblies and pinions and close the
gearcase (2) with its seal and LOCTITE 510. Tighten
screws or nuts (41) using a torque spanner. Fit oil plugs,
ensuring that the oil level is correct. Fit the motor with
nuts.
If in doubt, send gearbox or components to Leroy Somer
for factory modification or repair.
