Remove the silent block from the opposite side of the shaft as described in section 3 and fi t a new
silent block as described in section 4.
4.3 Finals Steps
When replacing the silent blocks, carry out the following fi nal steps in accordance with the relevant
instructions and the associated repair and maintenance manual, observing the specifi ed safety
instructions and tightening torques:
1. Lifting the shaft
2. Install the link arm onto the bracket bolt and tighten it lightly.
3. Mount the shock absorbers
4. Remove the hydraulic jack
5. Fill the pneumatic system with air
6. Remove the wheel chocks
7. Adjust the height of the suspension
8. Adjust axle alignment
9. Tighten suspension bolts and shock absorbers
