GENERAL INFORMATION
Please read these instructions completely and carefully before carrying out any work. Keep
them in a safe place for future reference. These instructions describe how to remove and replace
silent blocks on air suspension systems. They are intended for use only by trained and qualifi ed
personnel from authorised towing vehicle service centres and authorised specialist companies.
The replacement of the silentblock must be carried out in accordance with the applicable safety
regulations and good engineering practice in order not to expose employees and third parties
to danger. All safety instructions and warnings contained in these instructions must be strictly
observed.
Information indicated by the DANGER symbol or the word DANGER, WARNING or CAUTION, or
NOTICE, must be observed at all times. Additional notes are used to highlight areas of procedural
importance or to provide additional information. Failure to follow the instructions listed in this
publication may endanger the personal safety of the service technician or the vehicle operator.
DANGER indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in death or
serious injury.
WARNING indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in death
or serious injury.
CAUTION indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, may result in minor or
moderate injury.
OBSERVATION indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, may result in
minor or moderate injury.
Indicates a procedure that is essential for the proper operation of the device.
