ASSEMBLY
3.1 Preparing the assembly for the removal of the rubber buff er
The silencer block removal tool (hereinafter referred to as the assembly and removal tool) consists
of a threaded rod (1), two thrust washers (2), a bearing (3), two further thrust washers (2), a cover
plate (4), a receiving tube or sleeve (5) and a nut unit (9), as shown in Figure 1.

Before disassembling the silentblock, mount the tool correctly. (1) To do this, place the tool
components on the threaded rod in the order shown (fi g. 2) :
- 2 Axial washers (2)
- Bearing (3)
- 2 Axial washers (2)
- Sealing plate or cover (4)
- Receiving sleeve (5)
