As shipped or after resetting the sensor to factory defaults
Pin 2 and Pin 4 are configured as a PNP switching output
(Q1/Q2). The switching logic for Q1 is normally open, Q2 is
normally closed. The sensor uses background suppression
(see section Factory settings on page 4).

Note correct approach direction in this mode!
1. Position the sensor at the desired distance from the
object.
2. Press button until the yellow and green LEDs flash at
the same time (approx. 3 s).
3. Release button.
4. When the red LED remains off continue with step 5.
Otherwise the object must be repositioned in the
detection zone or the alignment must be adjusted.
5. Press button again. The object has been successfully
taught.
