A
Risk of kickback!
When grooving it is especially important
no lateral pressure is applied to the saw
blade. Otherwise the sawhead may be
kicked up abruptly! Use a stock clamp
when grooving. Avoid lateral pressure
on the sawhead.
Starting position:
– Transport locking pin pulled out.
– Sawhead fully raised.
– Sawhead tilted to desired angle
against the workpiece's surface and
locked.
– Rotating table locked in desired po-
sition.
– Lock screw of the track arm loos-
ened.
– Track arm not extended.
Cutting the workpiece:
1. Set the cutting depth limiter (81) to
the desired cutting depth and se-
cure with the lock nut (82):
81
2. Release the safety lock and swing
the sawhead down to check the set
cutting depth:
3. Make a trial cut.
4. Repeat steps 1 and 3 if necessary
until the desired cutting depth has
been set.
5. Cut workpiece as described under
"Standard Cross Cuts".

Care and Maintenance
A
Danger!
Unplug before servicing.
– Repair and maintenance work oth-
er than described in this section
should only be carried out by quali-
fied specialists.
– Damaged parts, particularly safety
devices, must only be replaced with
genuine parts. Parts which have not
been tested and released by the
manufacturer can lead to unfore-
seen damage.
– Check that all safety devices are
operational again after each serv-
ice.

Saw Blade Change
A
Burn hazard!
Directly after cutting the saw blade can
be very hot – burn hazard! Let a hot
saw blade cool down. Do not clean a
hot saw blade with combustible liquids.
A
Cutting hazard - even when
saw blade is at a standstill!
When loosening and tightening the ar-
bor bolt, the retractable blade guard
must encompass the saw blade. Wear
gloves when changing blades.
1. Stop the sawhead in the upper posi-
tion.
2. To keep the saw blade from turning
press the lock knob (83), while at
the same time turning the saw blade
by hand until the blade lock engag-
es.
ENGLISH
83
3. Unscrew arbor bolt (85) on saw
spindle with Allen key (left-hand
thread!).
85
4. Release safety lock (84), push re-
tractable blade guard (87) up and
hold.
5. Carefully remove outer blade flange
(86) and saw blade from saw spin-
dle and close retractable blade
guard again.
A
Danger!
Do not use cleaning agents (e.g. to re-
move resin residue) that could corrode
the light metal components of the saw;
the stability of the saw would be ad-
versely affected.
6. Clean clamping surfaces of:
– saw spindle,(88)
– saw blade,
– outer blade flange (86),
– inner blade flange,(90).
